Arcam R15

The ARCAM R15 is a compact bookshelf loudspeaker from the Radia Series, designed to deliver detailed, dynamic sound without requiring a large listening space. Its premium Black Natural Walnut veneer, concealed mounting hardware and magnetically attached grille give the R15 a clean, understated appearance suitable for bookshelves, cabinets or dedicated speaker stands.

The R15 uses a 25mm (1-inch) Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC) dome tweeter positioned within ARCAM's patented waveguide and Acoustic Lens. This design is engineered to provide smooth, natural high frequencies and a wide soundstage, including when listening away from the central axis.

Low and mid frequencies are handled by a 130mm (5.25-inch) Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC) cone driver with an inverted surround and patented cast frame. The stiff, damped cone is designed to minimise distortion, while the frame optimises airflow, cooling and rigidity. A precision 2-way crossover using premium components integrates the two drivers at a crossover frequency of 1.8kHz.

The cabinet uses a rear-mounted bass-reflex port and rigid internal bracing to support controlled, accurate performance. The R15 has a frequency response of 54Hz to 40kHz (±6dB), a nominal impedance of 6 ohms and a sensitivity of 85dB measured at 1 metre with a 2.83V input. Recommended amplifier power is 15W to 150W.

Each ARCAM R15 measures 200mm wide, 245mm deep and 294mm high and weighs 6.8kg. The loudspeakers are supplied as a pair and are designed to complement ARCAM's Radia electronics, including the A5+ and A15+ integrated amplifiers.
