The Arcam A5 is an integrated amplifier from the Radia range, designed as an accessible entry point into Arcam hi-fi. Its Class AB amplification delivers 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms, rising to 75 watts into 4 ohms.

Connectivity includes three analogue RCA inputs, a dedicated moving-magnet phono input for turntables, coaxial and optical digital inputs supporting audio up to 24-bit/192kHz, and Bluetooth with Qualcomm aptX Adaptive. The A5 can also transmit audio to compatible Bluetooth headphones.

Digital conversion is handled by an ESS ES9018 DAC, while carefully selected components and materials are used throughout the amplifier with an emphasis on musical performance. The aluminium-fronted Radia design combines a compact profile with Arcam's distinctive yellow detailing.

At 431mm wide, 344mm deep and 83mm high, the A5 weighs 8kg and provides a straightforward combination of analogue, digital, vinyl and wireless connectivity for a modern two-channel hi-fi system.
